Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and I think it’s the same for dogs, too. My Name is Ella, and I’m a beautiful 6-year-old hound-mix. Though, I don’t know all the details of what happened, I do know my favorite person became ill and can’t take care of me anymore. That is why I am at The Buddy Foundation.
I miss my home, I miss my person, and I’m just feeling very sad and lonely right now. However, all the volunteers at Buddy have been so kind to me. They understand I’m grieving, and I know they feel extremely sorry for me. I also want you to know, I have a deluxe, cozy, quiet, room near the back of the shelter, away from all the hustle and bustle. I’ve met so many kind volunteers who take me for walks and sit quietly with me in my room. They bring me fun stuffies everyday and play with me. I have made some good friends here. So many people are showering me with a ton of love and good care.
What I really want is to be in a home again, to be loved and be part of a family. If you adopt me, I promise to be the best girl. I’d be so happy to have a spot near you when you are watching your favorite shows or reading, to lay my head on your lap on the couch, and a place near your bed at the end of the day. Most of all, I want to be loved and cherished by you. I have super good manners and will be respectful of all your things, and I’ll remind you when I need to go outside to do my thing. I
am great on the leash, and I can’t wait to go out and explore my new neighborhood with. I just want to belong again and be part of a family. In turn, I promise I’ll show you every day how much I appreciate and love you. I will be your best girl, forever and always. Please schedule to meet me soon. I can’t wait to see you.
